Hamilton Landscapes Study One
Being raised in Hamilton Ontario, I wanted to dedicate a series of works that help improve my skills in landscape and highlight my connection and appreciation for nature in the Hamilton area. The landscapes shown have been original photographs taken on Cherry Hill Trail located between Hamilton and Burlington Ontario. Through this series, I explore how to convey different spaces through paintings and experiment with how the canvas frame effects the space, playing with the illusion of space through oil mediums.
